Common questions

Answers to the questions we hear most.

Wondering about appointments, emergencies or how things work? The most common answers are here.

How do I make an appointment?

The easiest way is by phone on 06171 633366, or online through our booking system at any time. If you are a new client, please say so with your booking request.

How do I order repeat medication?

Please order repeat medication and prescription food at least 14 days in advance — by app message or email, including the details needed. Under German veterinary medicines law, medication can only be dispensed if your pet has been seen at the practice recently, as a rule within the last three to six months.

What do I do in an emergency outside opening hours?

If you cannot reach us and your pet needs urgent veterinary help, our emergency page has the contact details of the recommended animal hospital.

Which animals do you treat?

We treat dogs, cats and small pets — including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and gerbils.

Is there parking?

Yes, free parking is available in front of and behind the practice. Access is step-free.

Should I bring my cat in a carrier?

Yes, please use a carrier. A towel over it helps many cats arrive more relaxed.

What should I bring to a first appointment?

The vaccination record, any previous findings and — if you have one — a recent faecal sample. For small pets: please bring them in their usual carrier.

How often should my pet be examined?

We recommend at least one check-up a year — more often for older animals or chronic conditions. We agree the right interval with you individually.
